In October 2016, Emerson introduced their next generation handheld communicator, the AMS Trex Device Communicator. As the AMS Trex communicator does everything that a 475 Field Communicator can – and more, the 475 Field Communicator is phase-out of production.

The optional Device Communicator Plus module can power two-wire HART and FOUNDATION Fieldbus instruments directly from the handheld, eliminating extra tools and reducing work time. If you have an AMS Device Manager system, you can automatically sync your field data with your asset management database.
